Two More Cards Featuring DS4J Images

If you are a frequent visitor to my blog, would you please leave me a message so I can get an idea of just how many visits I have.  I supposedly have 645 followers, yet rarely do I hear from anyone.  That's okay if folks are actually looking.  If what I fear is true, I will be closing my blog.

Today, I have 2 more cards to share using DS4J digistamps.  The first one is using Natasha drawn by JenLee.

 She was colored with Copics.

The second one is "Better Late Than Never".  She was colored with Copics and Promarkers.  I put her in a flip card.  When opened the inside shows the greeting or sentiment.

Thank you for visiting today and for helping me with my little experiment.

God Bless You!!!! Peggy

Mid Month DS4J Post

It is time for the mid-month post for the Digistamps4Joy September Challenge.  This is what Margy, our fearless leader, had to say about this challenge when she posted it September 1.

The theme for September 2016's challenge is

with an optional twist of "Use ANY 3 colours"

Hosted by Margy

It is MY turn to host a challenge - something I so rarely do as the owner of DS4J, but what a delight this is! I love working with a colour challenge, so I thought, why not do the twist for September with this challenge, and so thetheme for September is always ANYTHING GOES, but with the added optional twist of using any THREE of the following coloursBlack and white are allowed as well, so you have a whole range to work with!

This is my card for the challenge.

Card Details:

A2 Card base
Colored with Copic Markers
Anna Griffin Lattice Die
Martha Stewart Butterfly punches

I hope you will join me for the challenge.  I love to see my friends participate.  Thank you for stopping by today.

A2 Cards for Nursing Home

I made application to volunteer at local nursing home.  I've done all the requirements, just waiting to hear from them.  I know sometimes they have an activity like scrapbooking for the patients to do.  That got my mind to thinking.  I think card making would be a good activity also.  I thought I could have all the elements cut out and put in a little baggie.  Then all they would have to do is put the card together.  I haven't gotten to run this by the volunteer coordinator yet.  These are some of the cards I came up with.
Card Supplies:
A2 card base - from boxed cards purchased at Michaels.
All the sentiments and backgrounds are cut with Anna Griffin Dies.
Flowers are Anna Griffin floral stickers.

I think these would be great for an activity.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I'm in Virginia with my son and daughter-in-love.  The weather is so  nice.  It was 66 degrees this morning.  Til next time.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

New Release Sunday - Digistamps4Joy

Today is Team B's privilege to create with the new releases at Digistamps4Joy.  These gorgeous images were drawn by Jenlee.  I chose "Misteri's Ornaments" to work with.
Card Supplies:
5.5"Square card base
Background paper - Kay and Co. Christmas stack.
Image colored with Promarkers.  I used glitter glue on the earrings. To make the fur look realistic, I dabbed liquid pearls on it.  I'm not sure you can tell this in the picture.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  Please visit the DS4J and look at all the beautiful digis added back to the store. I'm happy to say my card is featured on the front page.

God Bless You!!! Peggy
